Color Glossary: Blue

Last week we learn about the color glossary of pink. Now we will learn more about blue. Blue represent calmness and maturity, but it can be fun at the same time.

1. Tiffany Blue

Inspired by the infamous Tiffany&Co jewelry store. Sometimes we called it aqua blue or robin egg blue. This color is suitable for a beach or sea theme wedding.

2. Baby Blue

The most popular wedding blue ever. Feminine and soft like a princess (it's Cinderella's ballgown color after all).

3. Navy Blue

Remember Kate Middleton's engagment dress? Yes it's Navy Blue! It has the darkest tone of all. This color will leave luxurious, royal and elegant impression to your guests. Combine it with lemon yellow for a streaking theme.

4. Turquoise Blue

Turquoise (or teal) is located in between blue and green. It will bring out vintage feel to the theme.You can combine it with silver or white for the best result.

5. Denim Blue

Inspired by the denim (or so called jeans) color, this darker blue is really balanced. It's not too dark and not too vibrant.

6. Dodger Blue

Mostly known as cerulean blue, hydrangea blue or sky blue. If you want a more fun and catchy blue theme, this color is for you.

7. Periwinkle Blue

It's a pale-almost-purple-tone blue. This color is suitable for a small, family and friends only reception because it's very calm, relaxing and intimate.

 7. Cobalt Blue
 
The most vibrant blue of all. Also known as electric blue. Try this color only if you're a unique and dare-to-be-different type of person.
